Tripwrecked: A. Poland
Thank you to the author and publisher for providing me with an ARC copy in exchange for my honest review.
I absolutely loved this book- I couldn't put it down and finished it in 24 hours. We meet Aiden as he arrives in a small town in Australia for a month-long holiday. When he arrives at his Airbnb, we are blessed with a meet-cute between Aiden and Finn, the host's brother, as he hilariously attempts to fix a sink. Finn, it turns out, ends up finding Aiden at the most inopportune times (for Aiden), but when he conveniently could use some assistance, from a pretty delicious Aussie. This leads to the most beautiful story of found family and self-discovery. Sprinkled with a little a spice, and you have one amazing read.
I found myself really connecting with the characters and really enjoyed the conflict/resolution and character development along the way. I wished we could see a little bit more resolution between Aiden and is mom and sister, but that didn't make me enjoy the story any less.
Ultimately, I gave this book 4 stars and would ABSOLUTELY recommend it for when you need a sweet read.
